Product Specification

PVC &ABS edgebanding are manufactured through extrusion process. It is available in different thickness and widths which match close with any solid color and woodgrain design. It is supplied with primer treatment on the back side of edgebanding which is an integral part of establishing a successful bond with substrate.

Specification:

Colour
Slight variation may occur. Visual inspection is implemented under Cool White Fluorescent

Finish
Edging surface must be smooth and without visual defect (excluded emboss texture). Visual defect is evaluated by holding and observing the sample at a distance of 1 meter away from eyesight.

Primer
The primer covers the underside surface.

Tolerance
Width and thickness tolerance for edgebanding are narrowly defined as below:

Width	Tolerance
19mm to 39mm	+/- 0.40mm
40mm to 50mm	+/- 0.50mm

Thickness	Tolerance
0.6mm to 1.0mm	+0.10mm / -0.15mm
1.1mm to 2.0mm	+0.10mm / -0.20mm
2.1mm to 3.0mm	+0.15mm / -0.25mm

Application Limitation:

PVC & ABS edgebanding are applicable for interior use only. Continuous exposure to sunlight or UV rays may cause colour change.

Maintenance
All PVC & ABS edgebanding can be clean by using soap and water. It is recommended not to use strong solvents such as MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), toluene, acetone or paint thinner.

Storage
Not to store under sunlight directly or place with extreme high temperature of exceeding 65°C.
